Exercise Rehabilitation

The staff doctors will formulate an individual exercise program that is appropriate for your specific injury or condition. Chiropractic College education includes a thorough curriculum of exercise rehabilitation of the spine and other joints of the body i.e. shoulder, ankle etc. Some of the more common programs utilized by staff doctors include:

  • JANDA stabilization exercises and postural re-education programs
  • McKenzie exercise protocol
  • Williams flexion exercise program
  • Core stability exercise program
  • Balance exercise program (neuromuscular training)

Injury Prevention Strategies

  1. correct ergonomics while working at the desk/computer stations
  2. proper lifting techniques
  3. proper warm-ups and general fitness
