Exercise Rehabilitation
The staff doctors will formulate an individual exercise program that is appropriate for your specific injury or condition. Chiropractic College education includes a thorough curriculum of exercise rehabilitation of the spine and other joints of the body i.e. shoulder, ankle etc. Some of the more common programs utilized by staff doctors include:
- JANDA stabilization exercises and postural re-education programs
- McKenzie exercise protocol
- Williams flexion exercise program
- Core stability exercise program
- Balance exercise program (neuromuscular training)
Injury Prevention Strategies
- correct ergonomics while working at the desk/computer stations
- proper lifting techniques
- proper warm-ups and general fitness
